2015. Washington Women in Trades 8th Rosie calendar.
This year’s women were from Seattle, Spokane and Bremerton, Washington. They worked in shipyards, ammunition and airplane factories, one worked on the Manahattan project at Hanford. We honor their legacy, not just for their war-time support, but even more for their ground breaking work. If they didn’t do what they did, today’s tradeswoman would not be doing what she’s doing.
