Join the NIOSH SURVEY
This Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences study concerns the safety, health,
well-being, and respectful treatment of tradeswomen in the construction industry. It includes
a 15-20 minute online survey with tradeswomen that is open until the end of January.
That's where YOU come in: Tradeswomen and non-binary tradespeople from all across
the USA are welcome to participate.
The first 200 participants will receive a $15 gift card!

The Legacy of the Seattle WTO Protests
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, this exhibit revisits the “Battle of Seattle”
through key artifacts, immersive images, and powerful statements from the people who were present.
From the origins of the WTO to the legacy of these events on activism, policing, and global trade policy, visitors are invited to consider multiple perspectives and reflect on their relationship to democracy—an issue at the heart of the WTO protests of continuing relevance today.

2025 CONSTRUCTION & MARITIME CAREER DAY
Introduces and inspires high school students and young adults from North Snohomish
County to explore careers in the construction and maritime industries.
Featured Workstations
Outdoor Heavy Equipment
Attendees are provided with the opportunity to operate rigs, tools and equipment
under the guidance of operators and apprentices.
Indoor Hands-on Construction Activities
Attendees can try their hand at activities such as laying mortar on brick,
survey map reading, or operating a crane simulator. They will be introduced to
local education programs, industry associations, apprenticeship training programs, etc.
These organizations offer short sessions about their programs
and support services.
